Terms of Service – KXJCustoms
By booking or using services provided by KXJCustoms, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Services
KXJCustoms provides automotive detailing services including, but not limited to:
• Paint correction
• Ceramic coatings
• Interior detailing
• Wet sanding and restoration services
All services are performed to the highest standard possible; however, results may vary depending on the vehicle’s condition.
Bookings & Payments
• A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
• Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.
• Failure to make payment may result in the vehicle being withheld until payment is received (where legally permitted).
Cancellations & Rescheduling
• A minimum of 24–48 hours notice is required for rescheduling.
• Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred with adequate notice.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
• Customers must disclose any known issues with the vehicle prior to service.
• KXJCustoms is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing paint damage, scratches, dents, or clear coat failure
• Poor previous repairs or resprays
• Thin or fragile paint that may be affected during correction
Paint Correction & Wet Sanding Risks
• Paint correction and wet sanding involve removing a small layer of clear coat.
• By agreeing to the service, you acknowledge:
• There is an inherent risk of exposing underlying layers (especially on edges or previously repaired areas)
• Not all defects can be safely removed
• KXJCustoms will always prioritise paint safety over defect removal.
Ceramic Coating
• Ceramic coatings require proper aftercare to maintain performance.
• KXJCustoms is not responsible for coating failure due to:
• Improper maintenance
• Automatic car washes
• Environmental exposure or neglect
Customer Satisfaction
• Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.
• KXJCustoms will be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any issues.
Personal Belongings
• Customers are responsible for removing personal items from the vehicle prior to service.
• KXJCustoms is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.
Limitation of Liability
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, KXJCustoms shall not be liable for:
• Indirect or consequential losses
• Pre-existing issues worsened during service
• Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
Refusal of Service
KXJCustoms reserves the right to refuse or stop service if:
• The vehicle is deemed unsafe to work on
• Conditions are unsuitable
• The customer is unreasonable or abusive
