Terms of Service – KXJCustoms

By booking or using services provided by KXJCustoms, you agree to the following Terms of Service.

Services

KXJCustoms provides automotive detailing services including, but not limited to:

β€’ Paint correction

β€’ Ceramic coatings

β€’ Interior detailing

β€’ Wet sanding and restoration services

All services are performed to the highest standard possible; however, results may vary depending on the vehicle’s condition.


Bookings & Payments

β€’ A deposit may be required to secure your booking.

β€’ Full payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed.

β€’ Failure to make payment may result in the vehicle being withheld until payment is received (where legally permitted).


Cancellations & Rescheduling

β€’ A minimum of 24–48 hours notice is required for rescheduling.

β€’ Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred with adequate notice.

β€’ Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the deposit.


Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage

β€’ Customers must disclose any known issues with the vehicle prior to service.

β€’ KXJCustoms is not responsible for:

β€’ Pre-existing paint damage, scratches, dents, or clear coat failure

β€’ Poor previous repairs or resprays

β€’ Thin or fragile paint that may be affected during correction


Paint Correction & Wet Sanding Risks

β€’ Paint correction and wet sanding involve removing a small layer of clear coat.

β€’ By agreeing to the service, you acknowledge:

β€’ There is an inherent risk of exposing underlying layers (especially on edges or previously repaired areas)

β€’ Not all defects can be safely removed

β€’ KXJCustoms will always prioritise paint safety over defect removal.


Ceramic Coating

β€’ Ceramic coatings require proper aftercare to maintain performance.

β€’ KXJCustoms is not responsible for coating failure due to:

β€’ Improper maintenance

β€’ Automatic car washes

β€’ Environmental exposure or neglect


Customer Satisfaction

β€’ Any concerns must be raised within 24 hours of service completion.

β€’ KXJCustoms will be given the opportunity to inspect and rectify any issues.


Personal Belongings

β€’ Customers are responsible for removing personal items from the vehicle prior to service.

β€’ KXJCustoms is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle.


Limitation of Liability

β€’ To the fullest extent permitted by law, KXJCustoms shall not be liable for:

β€’ Indirect or consequential losses

β€’ Pre-existing issues worsened during service

β€’ Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.


Refusal of Service

KXJCustoms reserves the right to refuse or stop service if:

β€’ The vehicle is deemed unsafe to work on

β€’ Conditions are unsuitable

β€’ The customer is unreasonable or abusive
